POKOLBIN CAFÉ

My contemporary design direction for this project is to create a small modern café while adapting some elements of Art Deco into my design.

The location for this project is in a small rural town of Pokolbin in the Hunter Region of NSW. The café incorporates a fun and warm colour scheme using different shades of pinks and turquoise, combined with hints of brass and textured concrete, along with patterned and curved forms.

My design is kept simple and minimalistic, as well as making sure that the space flow functionally for clients. As a result, my adaptation of the Art Deco style follows a modern approach while adding a few contrasting elements of this era to my café design.
